I never know what to title my posts. Unless there is some big "event" - state fair, birthday, a holiday - then I feel kinda stuck on what to call the post. There's a pressure to make it catchy, something that will make you say, "Oh this will be a good one." So I'm starting this post without a title because honestly, I don't really know what I'm going to write about yet. I just have some really cute pictures of Silas. :)

Silas is now big enough to go down his slide all by himself - he can climb up, stand at the top, and sit down to slide. My parents bought him this for his first birthday and it is just perfect right now for him to enjoy. He loves being able to do it independently.


We headed back to the State Fair last weekend 'cause my family decided to go for the day. Silas LOVED the JR Donuts - sugar donuts that completely melt in your mouth. This picture probably isn't close enough for you to see, but he was absolutely covered in sugar.

Another favorite this summer has been bubbles, which he pronounces "Baboole"...and yes, it sounds a lot like "Papoole" (a.k.a. popsicle).


This kid got so many bubbles on and in his mouth that every time he'd breath, he was making bubbles with his lips!! I wasn't fast enough to catch that one with the camera but it sure was funny!
