Silas and I played in the huge corn pool together:
We visited lots of animals like sheep, goats, chickens, pigs, ducks, and horses.
Silas' favorite animals were the goats - they were so interactive with him...and by interactive, I mean looking for food. :)
Daddy and Silas enjoyed the big slide together! Each time after they went down the slide, Silas would point at it and say, "Weeee!"
There was a huge jumping pillow there that Silas and I had a BLAST on!! He squeeled just as much as I did!
There was a great little area for kids to ride pedal tractors. Silas is a little bit too young for pedal part, but Jake stepped in and gave him a ride. He loved the "tractor!"
And of course there were real tractors for the hayrack rides that captured my sweet son's attention. :)
How tall is Silas this fall?
I figured I should update you on Silas' fascination with animals. :) He currently can name, recognize, and/or tell you what the following animals say:
Kitty: Meow
Puppy: Woof, woof
Spiders/bugs: Ewwww!
Giraffe: sticks neck out
Turtle
Kangaroo: hop, hop
Camel: "Sally the Camel" song is what we sing
Fish: opens and closes a puckered mouth like a fish (yep, DARLING!)
Cow: Moooo
Lion: Rarr
Monkey: (with hands tickling armpits) ooo-ooo
Pig
Duck: Quack
Owl: Hoo hoo
Rooster: rooster sound...how do you put that in writing?
Chicken: Buk, buk, bugaah
Crocidile: claps hands together like the NFL Florida Gators do to cheer
Bat
Sheep: Baaa
Baby: Waaah
He is so stinkin' smart and we are having so much fun teaching him all these fun things!
Let me just recognize my amazing husband here at the end of this post. Check out my gorgeous fall bouquet of flower Jake hand-picked for my birthday from my boys!
Jake is such a great guy and knew exactly what I needed after an awful day at work yesterday - I came home to a spotless house! It was awesome!!! Thanks, babe!
