40 week check

Even though TECHNICALLY I'm not 40 weeks until tomorrow, I'm scheduled to work tomorrow so we had to make my appointment today. Again, progress was made since Friday! I am now 4-5cm dilated {the doctors are always so impressed which makes me feel good}. They wanted to schedule an induction for tomorrow, but gave us a chance to talk it over.

Oh the agony of making the decision!!! When it came down to it though there is no medical reason to induce and at this point, we'd just be doing it for convenience sake. Am I uncomfortable and at times terribly emotional? Yes. But I feel like it's a small sacrifice to make -I guess for me it's a small sacrifice...maybe the sacrifice isn't so small for my poor hubby. :) We've said all along that we didn't want to induce so that's what we're sticking to for now. We've given ourselves a goal of the weekend and if he still hasn't come, then we'll re-evaluate next week and decide what is best at that point.
